The Chicken Coop is Finally Finished (Mostly)
From February to now… what a ride.
Tony posted our official coop reveal video to YouTube last night, and I’m so excited to finally share it with everyone who’s been on this journey with us. This little dream has turned into something we’re genuinely proud of.
The video was filmed over two days, so you’ll notice a few things change as we go - like the chains we added to the nesting and storage box lids so they don’t fall all the way to the ground anymore. Small upgrades, big difference.
And even though the coop is mostly done, we’re still adding more touches to make it feel like “us.”
I’ve got a bench coming so I can sit with the girls, and we’re adding trim around the wallpaper because… listen… wallpapering is not my spiritual gift, and framing it out will make it look intentional and finished.
And yes - when the girls get older and we remove the nesting box cover… there will be curtains.
